So I was thinking today, after looking at so much art and How badly i feel cause I haven't been practicing my craft; that I would start sketching/doodling again and maybe go back and take a few drawing classes again. It could never hurt right? But on top of that I found this, and I've heard of it before.. so I decided to post it here again as a challenge to myself to actually create full on pieces of artwork whether digitally or traditionally. I just need to get back into the process of creation and I think this is just the challenge I need right now. Heck, I might even do some literature.. its all art!! So to steal from nike "Just Do It"

O Tanjoubi omedetou
お誕生日おめでとう .

:3 I feel pride in being able to look at that and know some of those symbols.
For those of you who don't know Tanjoubi Omedetou means happy birthday. Yes it tis be a day early to celebrate but I've already had my first birthday wishes. So to commence the celebration I am posting today :3

First thing I really want to do is to pump up another artist or two:

First: Found this girl Malukah on youtube. Actually, found her from a post on Facebook by Skyrim posting about another devianat MurdockMcMackin  who had the link for Malukah's youtube page on his deviation. Both of these artist deserve a look at (and a listen to). You will be... how to put this.... entranced.

This other artist I found through looking for reference images for my modeling project. For those who don't know I am doing a model of Link from Legend of Zelda and was doing a side project of a small scene of links items. I found this guy on Polycount.com and am in love with what he is doing. An amazing 3d artist ( i am sooo..ooo jealous of his work!!) please take the time to check out beere His work is amazing.


School goes well. Almost finished with AAS in Interactive Gaming and Simulation through the local community college. My 3d work I feel is coming along swimmingly. I post fairly frequently over at danielleashcraft.wordpress.com for those who would like to keep up with what I am doing these days. However I will try my hardest to remember to keep up the posts here are frequently as possible.

Hello all,

I took the time to quickly up load the koi paintings i've done thus far. The first one is my first koi painting. THe other is a panel painting for my final project for class... it is three 18 by 24 panels long ways and the actual title is "Dragon Koi" .

I haven't updated in such a long time.. I am terribly sorry. Life has  a way of doing that.


I will post some digital work as well as fine art work hopefully in the next couple of weeks if not sooner (all is dependent upon the time I take to post all this work.. )
